Note Purchases and Distressed Property
In 2009, Drake entered into the distressed property segment of the industry by forming Drake Financial Services. Drake Financial Services actively purchases non-performing residential loans and REO homes on a nationwide platform, acquires distressed commercial loans and assets in select markets, and invests in pools of mortgages. Drake Financial Services has an in-depth understanding of the note buying process and has successfully worked with lenders to purchase their non-performing loans using integrity to ensure that every borrower is treated with respect. The company has systems and strategies in place to work with the borrower to re-perform, refinance or navigate the foreclosure process.
