Jon Hauser – Managing Partner
Jon Hauser founded Drake Real Estate Services in 1997. Jon manages each project on a daily basis. In addition, he seeks new opportunities in the marketplace, fosters and maintains strong relationships within the real estate and lending communities, and ensures the company achieves its financial objectives. Jon was formerly the Director of Real Estate for Boston Market Restaurants and Einstein Bros. Bagel Co. Prior to that, he represented national retail clients and a portfolio of landlords as a retail real estate broker. He has a Business Degree from Drake University, is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
Jon Hardy – Partner
Jon Hardy is responsible for identifying and selecting appropriate sites for development and for negotiating the acquisition of those sites. He also manages the entitlement process for Drake’s development projects and the leasing and sale of Drake’s assets. Jon has contributed significantly to Drake’s success in developing a high volume of properties, with multiple clients, across diverse markets. He holds a Master's Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and is a licensed real estate broker.
Jeanne Rooney – Development Coordinator
Jeanne Rooney is primarily responsible for the transactional side of Drake's business and coordinates with Drake's outside counsel, lenders, brokers and vendors. She manages Drake's acquisitions and dispositions from due diligence through closing, as well as managing Drake's loans, leases and corporate records. Jeanne also assists with property management activities for the Drake-owned properties. She was formerly with the law firms of Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber & Schreck, LLP, McKenna & Cuneo and Roath & Brega, where she worked in all areas of commercial real estate, securities and bankruptcy.
Cheryl Karklin – Office Manager
Cheryl Karklin manages the day-to-day operations of the office. She is responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors to ensure smooth operation of all office equipment, property insurance, IT, phone system and inventory. She assists executives with new property acquisitions and development. Cheryl is a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver and has over five years of residential mortgage experience.
Laura Mullaney – Accounting
Laura Mullaney handles the accounting and bookkeeping for the company, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as the company’s payroll, insurance, benefits and retirement package. Laura comes from the CPA firm of Sather & Associates, who handles all of the company’s finance and tax strategies.
Perry Radic – Director of Property Management
Perry Radic comes to Drake Asset Management with over 20 years of real estate and property/asset management experience. Perry deals with all aspects of lease negotiations and renewals, budgeting on a monthly and annual basis, annual reconciliations, audits on and for tenants and monthly financial reporting. He handles lender inspections, obtaining and renewing insurance, tenant lease compliance, collections and overseeing the day-to-day operations at centers which include over one million square feet of retail space. In addition, he works with banks and lenders on the disposition of and the acquiring of commercial real estate property. He has engaged with several law firms as an expert in the field of property management, specifically in the in the area of managing operating costs for retail shopping centers. Perry has also served as court appointed receiver for multiple commercial properties in the State of Colorado, most recently in Boulder and Westminster. Perry worked for several prominent real estate developers and was the CFO for a major restaurant chain in Denver before opening his own property management company in 2010. Perry holds a CPA certificate in the State of Colorado and a Colorado Real Estate Broker License. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.
Mary Michaelsen – Administrative Assistant
Mary Michaelsen assists the Director of Property Management with all administrative duties for over 40 properties in and around the Denver Metro area. These duties include handling tenant calls, scheduling, document management, as well as accounts payable and receivable. She came from First Data Resources in Omaha, Nebraska, where she was a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Creighton University.
Angela Davies – Property Management Accounting
Angela Davies handles all accounting functions relating to property management. On a monthly basis, she oversees account receivables, payables and general ledger postings to produce monthly financial statements for over 40 properties. Angela also assists the Director of Property Management with the preparation and calculation of annual budgets and annual CAM reconciliations. In addition, she is responsible for extracting all lease information and transferring the information into the Skyline Property Management database.
